Lucky Beaver - Natural Brown

The Lucky Beaver is the newest collaboration project between me and my Dutch friend and tying artist Henk Graafsma of Art of Fishing.
 

This little baby beaver may look cute, but has some tricks up his sleeve and knows all too well how to to trick those mean old predators.
It  will slow sink heads down and when pulled give a slap of its tail. 

The natural material this lure is made from (bucktail) and a soft silicone flapper tail will look & feel very natural to predatory fish.

 

This articulated streamer has a solid resin weighted head, custom airbrushed and topcoated with epoxy and is finished off with different layers of bucktail in colors that match the body.

After the first part, there is a second body consisting of seral layers of bucktail finished at the back with a custom made beaver tail made from high grade silicone.
The tail is super stretchy & tough and easy replaceable for color tweaking or replacement.

 

Two treble setup: One on the belly of the head and one attached to the softtail with a custom screw.

• Weight: around 165 Grams (dry weight)

• Hook advice: 3/0 front, 3/0 back

 

The Lucky Beaver is made on request only and can be made in ‘natural brown’ or ‘albino’

 

Be aware of some waiting time. Might depend on the availability of bucktails…

Additional note, all Lucky streamers are partly made of natural products. Do not leave these baits stored wet in your boxes

 

To keep the baits in a good shape after a day of fishing, it is advised to wash the bait and hang it away drying.

 

In this way, the bait will be ready to catch fish time after time….
