I am happy to release some first photo's of Esox.
A three sectional swimbait I have been working on for the last couple of months. Esox is the bigger brother of the Lucky Pike swimbait. Lucky Pike has brought so many big pike and walleye in the boat that this bait was high on my list of swimbaits to work on.

The original was carved from wood over a period of many weeks and then finally made into a mold.

Pike are known cannibales and especially in spring the big momma pikes like to eat their mates and youngs.
So that's were esox will serve best. Great for slow trolling. It's fun alone to watch it trail the boat.

We are currently doing first testruns with esox to see how it acts and what can be improved. Hopefully esox can be made by order this late summer/fall.
