This arowana swimbait has a VERY realistic life like swimming action during steady retrieve. But can be fished in very different ways. You can jerk it while retrieving and it will simulate a dying or wounded fish. This will drive the predators nuts! The arowana swimbait is a very versatile bait that due to its slow sinking buoyancy can be fished at any desired depth.
It is well suited to fish in shallow waters or above weed covers.

For the Chinese and those of related cultures, the dragon is a symbol of good luck and prosperity.
In the eyes of the Chinese, the dragon fish has the appearance and majesty of the Chinese Dragon, especially the large scales and barbels.
Arowanas are also used for feng shui to bring good luck.

Made from solid resin.
I make the mold myself. The material this bait is made from is denser than wood, buoyant and water resistant. Thus eliminating any chance of water getting into the body and damaging the lure, paint and topcoat.

Handcarved 3D head and scale details
Foiled, painted and detailed by hand with an airbrush

Thick multi-layer hi-gloss tough epoxy topcoat

MicroFiber fins
These fibers are made in Japan and are very soft and thin. Thus offering low resistance in the water while swimming. They are very strong and will not break or tear and keep their original shape, even after many agressive attacks. The fibers are epoxied into the body of the lure, not just glued onto it.

Realistic glass eyes
Hand painted.

All stainless steel hardware

Signed and numbered.

Length: 10 inch / 25 cm.
